The Oregon State Land Board approved plans to allow development of a large tract of industrial land southeast of Redmond city limits. The current plan calls for a new industrial park, a 140-acre expansion of the Deschutes County Fairgrounds, and a new National Guard facility. The industrial park will be designed for large tract industrial purposes. The subject area encompasses 945-acres.
