The tiny house movement is relatively new, so policy makers in most jurisdictions are still figuring out how to best regulate the small dwellings. Tiny houses on wheels often fall into a grey area in the law, but often are illegal to reside in full time. If your tiny house is built on a permanent foundation, a different set of rules will likely apply.
